Responsibilities
Leading cost savings projects, budget planning support, supplier relationship management, plant relationship management, supplier development, contract management, driving request for quote projects, purchase to pay processes, supplier portal management, strategic buying, understanding plant needs and improving spend and efficiencies within the purchase to pay process
Meeting KPI targets (savings, purchase to pay process, budget analysis and improvements), driving cost savings projects from start to implementation (project management), improving cash flow with reduction of accruals (tied up cash), interpret contract agreements with suppliers, improving how we buy with commodities to support supplier consolidation, capable to investigate price increases and negotiate
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated young graduate from a business school or university
Strong interest for purchasing, especially Industrial Procurement
Undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country)
Team player who is used to collaborate with different actors
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-moving environment
Ability to make decisions in complex situations
Attention to detail
Open minded with a serious desire to embark on an international career
Knowledge in the Microsoft Package (Excel, PPT, Word,...)
Fluent in English
European Citizenship
Between the age of 18 to 28 years old
Never worked in the country where they apply to
Preferred
A first experience or internship in the automotive sector
A first experience in professional negotiation
