Responsibilities
Greet visitors, collect admission fees, and deliver excellent customer service
Answer visitor questions and provide educational interpretation of the site
Handle monetary transactions, which include fee collection, weekly fee reports, and gift shop sales
Responsible for cash register reconciliation
Assist with reports and data entry
Perform opening and closing duties, and cleaning as needed
Answer a multi-line telephone system transferring calls to appropriate personnel
Assist all Absaroka District sites with special projects and events
Qualification
Required
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with visitors from different cultures
Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough in completing assignments/tasks
Experience in handling money, cash registers, and retail sales
Willingness to work on a variety of assignments every day
Ability to handle multiple groups of visitors at once
Capability to learn and retain information quickly
Ability to manage and complete projects with variable timelines and scopes of work
Must be able to climb stairs
Preferred
Preference will be given to applicants who are professional and have excellent customer service skills
