Site Reliability Engineer
STAND 8 Technology Consulting provides end-to-end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States. The Site Reliability Engineer - End User Computing is responsible for supporting enterprise virtual desktop environments and ensuring system stability, patch compliance, and endpoint performance in a 24x7 operational setting.

Responsibilities
Provide 24x7 operational support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments and 13x5 support for Windows, macOS, and Nexthink platforms
Manage and support enterprise virtual desktop ecosystems, including patching, vulnerability remediation, and image management
Respond to ServiceNow tickets for access issues, application installations, upgrades, system provisioning, and decommissioning within defined SLAs
Monitor licensing utilization, generate usage reports, and perform cleanup activities to reclaim unused licenses
Support Citrix application migrations and cloud or VMware cutover activities
Monitor and manage Windows environments including Intune device hash imports, Microsoft Autopilot troubleshooting, update deployments, and third-party application packaging
Support macOS environments including Jamf Pro administration, Apple Business Manager coordination, vulnerability remediation, and third-party packaging
Manage Nexthink DEX queues, validate remediation scripts, monitor endpoint performance dashboards, and analyze adoption trends
Provide tier-three troubleshooting support for escalations and contribute to problem management initiatives
Generate timely reports and updates using enterprise collaboration and ticketing platforms
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience supporting VDI, Windows, and macOS enterprise environments
Hands-on experience with VMware vCenter, AWS Workspaces, Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro, and ServiceNow
Experience managing patch compliance, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint lifecycle processes
Strong troubleshooting expertise across virtual desktops, Windows Autopilot, macOS systems, and endpoint monitoring tools
Experience with cloud-based virtual desktop platforms and enterprise licensing management
Ability to work in a 24x7 operational support model
Preferred
Experience supporting digital experience monitoring platforms
Familiarity with Citrix environments and cloud migration initiatives
Experience creating remediation scripts and validating automation workflows
Strong documentation and reporting skills
