Responsibilities
Utilize in-house and commercial simulation tools to model vehicle responses in high-speed, high-temperature environments
Execute and post-process simulation results
Prepare briefs and present results to the team
Support modeling and simulation efforts with direct analysis and development tasks
Qualification
Required
Candidate should be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to work for any employer
Student must be pursuing a degree (Graduate or Undergraduate) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
Internship requires students to be available to work in Crane, IN for the summer
Proficiency in one or more languages (Python, Fortran, C/C++) is desired
Preferred
Preferred candidates will demonstrate knowledge and interest in one or more of the following areas: compressible flow, heat transfer, thermodynamics, numerical methods, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
Background consisting of late-undergraduate to graduate level is preferred
