Responsibilities
Managing large-scale Apache Tomcat installations, including upgrades, patching, and configuration management (e.g., MBean attributes)
Optimizing JVM performance, thread pools, and connector settings to maintain service levels
Conducting vulnerability management, regular security scans, and implementing hardened configurations
Analyzing complex service level issues and identifying root causes in production environments
Working with DevOps teams to integrate Tomcat with NGINX, Apache HTTP, or load balancers
Using scripting for deployments and routine maintenance
Qualification
Required
6 years of experience in middleware platforms with specialization in Tomcat build and support activities
Understanding on Deployment of Tomcat applications in Red hat OpenShift container platform
Flexible to work on a rotational basis Night shift coverage
Creating the DNS URLs for all the respective instances
Creating LB request for NW team for LB creation
NAME creation for the DNS
Good understanding of Chef Json file
Knowledge with Autosys jobs to setup auto reboot for both Weekly and Monthly for each servers environments
Y8 Cert creations for DB2
Make sure all the PSE PROD servers ae in Break Glass before Go-Live
