Responsibilities

Be the “face” of the Internship Engagement Program as the ambassador for interns on campus
Build connections with interns and be a source of information; provide communication materials to all interns
Create and document activities plan for the La Jolla Internship Enrichment Program, including outreach to employee volunteers
Write campus internal communication materials such as newsletter articles, engagement activity notifications, call for volunteer emails, etc. that increase the value of our campus business and culture
Lead a digital signage (visual communications) campaign highlighting different aspects of working on the campus
Contribute to campus employee engagement campaigns and support team partners with event planning needs and other projects
Strengthening the campus internal social media page (Viva Engage)

Required

Completion of Undergraduate Sophomore year at an accredited University
Communications, marketing, business administration, or related fields
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal skills; comfortable interacting with all levels of our workforce; thrives around people
Strong writing skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Platforms (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
Must be enrolled in university during the internship period
Candidates must have authorization to work in the US

Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan.
Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year.
Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
