Senior User Experience Designer
PriceSenz is seeking an experienced UX Designer to support a large-scale Fare Collection System Upgrade initiative. This role focuses on designing intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for both public-facing digital platforms and internal back-office systems, collaborating closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Lead user research activities including interviews and usability testing to inform design decisions
Design intuitive, accessible interfaces and workflows aligned with usability and accessibility standards
Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams throughout Agile sprints
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
Present design concepts, rationale, and findings to stakeholders
Produce clear design documentation, specifications, and handoff materials
Review and update existing designs for consistency, branding, and accessibility
Participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of UX design experience for web-based applications
4+ years of experience designing accessible interfaces (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher)
Strong experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
Experience working in Agile development environments
Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma)
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field
Experience with user research, usability testing, and persona development
Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles
Experience with mobile app UX, ticketing, payment, or transaction-based systems
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for collaboration purposes
UX or accessibility-related certifications
