Procurement & Automation Intern
Career Sprint is offering an internship opportunity for students interested in procurement and automation. The role involves supporting data analysis, building dashboards, and assisting with automation use cases while gaining exposure to modern procurement technology and analytics.
Responsibilities
Support data analysis across sourcing, contracting, supplier management, operations and Travel & Expense
Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and trackers to support BAU and transformation efforts
Assist with data cleansing, validation, and migration activities related to new systems
Assist with opportunities for efficiencies, automation, AI, and RPA
Support documentation, testing, and analysis of automation use cases
Support user readiness activities including materials, job aids, and training sessions
Create and update PowerPoint decks, materials, and visual summaries
Support meeting coordination, notes, follow-ups, and action tracking
Build simple trackers, templates, and tools that help the team work smarter
Jump in to support ad-hoc requests as needed—no task too small, no project too big
Qualification
Required
Must be planning for degree completion between December 2026 – June 2027 in Business, Management, Management Consulting, Organization and Management, Public Relations, Accounting, Finance, Financial, Marketing, Media Sciences, Advertising, Economics, Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Accountancy, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics and Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Quantitative Sciences or Industrial Engineering
Strong interest in data, analytics, AI, automation, and/or business transformation
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
Comfortable working with data, learning new systems, and navigating ambiguity
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Must have U.S. Work Authorization and does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
Must be in commutable distance from or willing to relocate to a designated office
Must be willing to work in-office (days and frequency determined by hiring manager and based on intern programming)
Preferred
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools is a plus
Experience in procurement, supply chain, contracting, or data management
Prior experience working in a heavily regulated industry is beneficial
