Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and categories
Execute the sourcing strategies in accordance with the ITW 5 Step Sourcing Process
Forecast and report economic savings performance
Negotiate price reductions or increases
Drive long term agreements, market test, and award new business to maximize leverage
Analyze various reports to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
Support special projects as necessary to assist in delivering commodity goals
Focus approximately 70% on Strategic and 30% on Operational tasks
Manage Supplier Relationship Management including addressing nonconformance and capacity constraints
Identify new opportunities while leveraging sourcing, strategic planning, commodity expertise, supplier selection, negotiation, and risk management skills
Qualification
Required
Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market conditions, data, and supplier performance
Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and suppliers
Experience in Contract Negotiation to ensure favorable terms aligning with company needs
Recruiting and strategic sourcing capabilities
Proven expertise in Procurement and supply chain management processes
Ability to work effectively within a decentralized organization and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies for sourcing and procurement
