Publix Super Markets is a leading grocery store chain, and they are seeking an Hourly Support 2 for their Bakery RBU. The role involves serving as a point of contact for retail stores and suppliers, maintaining item data, and providing clerical support to the Category Management and Buying teams.

Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact within the RBU for our retail stores and suppliers. Must provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to our customers. They will answer questions, address concerns, and handle other retail requests
Maintains and verifies all item and system related transactions while following the established guidelines and procedures in the following systems: PIMS, Marwood, PPMS, SIR, CHIP, FLEX, as well as Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
Develop, edit, and post retail and vendor communication
Complete data entry functions within various Publix systems (MARWOOD, PIMS, PPMS, SIR and FLEX)
Manage and maintain accurate item level data in Publix system (MARWOOD, PIMS, PPMS, SIR and FLEX)
Provides support to our Category Management and Buying teams through the research and resolution of some issues (missing deliveries, damages)
Provide general clerical support to Category Manager and Buyer team (data entry, filing, answer phones, check voice mails, faxes, and other general office tasks)
Qualification
Required
High School diploma, or its equivalent
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures to work efficiently, effectively, and ethically in the Publix Corporate Office environment
Basic skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
Ability and willingness to adjust one's style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations
Ability to work effectively without close supervision or guidance
Ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor
Ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
Ability to manage time so that the priority of the activities determines the timing and amount of attention they receive
Ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
Ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, positive, and productive working relationships with associates, managers, customers, and vendors
Preferred
Associate degree in a business-related field
1 year experience in a retail store or in a purchasing related position
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Knowledge of the following programs: IMPALA, Master Data for ChainTrack (Requesting Item Maintenance), Marwood, PIMS - Project Information Management System, PPMS - Publix Promotion Management System, CHIP - Chart Item Planning system, FLEX – Flexible Pricing, SIR – Special Item Request System, Publix Master Data System (PMDS), WIC Crosslinks, Portal Content Publishing > ContentCenter (formerly TeamSite), Item Form Maintenance (ItemFormsWeb) (New Item Electronic Process), Electronic Planograms

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.
In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
