Facilitate improvement of medical/surgical or pediatric charts by educating physicians, residents and other clinicians

Qualification

Required

Previous experience as a Documentation Improvement Specialist in a hospital setting
Previous experience with 3M Encoder Systems
Bachelor's degree
Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant or trained Physician background or training
Experience working in an Electronic Medical Record environment
Five years of recent hospital experience and/or verifiable Documentation Improvement experience

Preferred

Clinical Documentation experience
Prior experience with training clinical staff and peers
