Responsibilities
Analyze and diagnose operating system and configuration-related bugs
Develop, implement, and deliver effective fixes for identified issues
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to understand dependencies and system behavior
Provide timely troubleshooting for operating system-related issues
Use diagnostic tools and methodologies to identify root causes
Implement temporary workarounds to minimize service disruption when required
Develop detailed test plans and test cases for bug fixes, configuration changes, and patches
Perform functional, performance, regression, security, and compatibility testing
Document test results, defects, and resolutions
Execute testing in designated test environments
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Linux operating systems, including driver-level development
Expert knowledge of Kubernetes operations, API servers, and lifecycle automation
Proficiency in Go or C/C++ programming languages
Experience with source control systems such as Git
Familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools such as Ansible and Puppet
Software development experience
Extensive experience working with Linux operating systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Experience with Kubernetes plugin development
Prior exposure to Edge Computing products
