Continuous Improvement Analyst - Management Analyst 4

Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement work for the division to improve efficiency and effectiveness of FM functions and processes and ensure processes provide actionable centralized information
Serve as the lead for agency wide reporting of FM data. Create and maintain FM reports and dashboards
Support units in the Financial Management Division in data work for continuous improvement and reporting. Assist in ensuring solid, reliable approaches for data collection, storage, preparation/provisioning of data, and data analysis, to produce data visualization and reporting for Financial Management functions
Serve as a liaison for the Financial Management Division staff on data for continuous improvement work and reporting
Qualification
Required
Three (3) years of project management experience or work related to continuous/process improvement and providing guidance to others doing project management or continuous/process improvement work
Experience doing data analysis to create data visualizations, dashboards, and/or reporting
Experience using applications such as MS365 suite of applications
Experience in project management, leading or guiding projects
Communications skills, both oral and written, sufficient to communicate complex concepts in plain language to a non-expert audience
Relationship building and management to build networks of colleagues and effectively encourage participation
Preferred
Expertise in use of continuous improvement tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, human-centered design or similar
Experience with performance measurement/management approaches
Knowledge of software programs for data analytics, visualization and reporting, preferably Microsoft Excel or Power BI
