Responsibilities
Run new cabling in new or existing buildings
Terminate and test Cat6/6A, coax, multimode fiber, and single-mode fiber
Perform troubleshooting of Cat6 and fiber optic cabling
Assist with telecommunications room build-outs
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Use testing equipment for copper and fiber
Demonstrate knowledge of fusion splicing and fiber terminations
Qualification
Required
0–5 years of experience with structured cabling systems
Ability to pass a drug and background check
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (past 3 years)
Willingness to travel
Ability to work professionally and safely on job sites
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation standards
