Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in water and wastewater conveyance systems, including system modeling, pipeline and interceptor route analysis, and pipe material selection
Perform preliminary and final design for large-scale municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Support planning studies for municipal water and wastewater systems
Assist with project scoping, proposals, schedules, and cost estimates
Prepare technical specifications and design documentation
Support the bidding process and provide construction-phase services and administration
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist in securing state and federal environmental permits
Coach and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, supporting their professional development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
4–8 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Strong technical design capability and understanding of applicable design criteria
Experience providing construction administration for public works projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or ability to obtain Texas licensure within six months
