Responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including: Basic plumbing, electrical work, mechanical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), painting/drywall and grounds maintenance
Ability to access compact areas that measure 18 inches by 18 inches
Ensure that mechanical equipment and systems are functioning properly and perform repairs as needed
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property managers, vendors, and customers
Engage in constant movement, including standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout shifts
Lift, push, and pull weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds
Walk and stand for extended periods and bend frequently during the shift
Create and maintain work orders. Create and maintain purchase orders
Complete any additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor or property management
Qualification
Required
Must pass a background check
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Required skills include plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential
Ability to access compact areas that measure 18 inches by 18 inches
Engage in constant movement, including standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout shifts
