The role involves executing lab testing, maintaining documentation, and developing SOPs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Support development and commercialization of product-package sensory interaction studies
Execute lab testing per industry standards; maintain solid documentation and observations
Develop new SOPs as required
Translate technical knowledge into effective package test plans
Work with packaging materials (bottles, closures, labels, cans, glass, corrugated, unit loads) and processing conditions (hot fill, cold fill, carbonation, aseptic)
Support packaging development and integration initiatives by preparing beverage prototypes and submitting samples for evaluation
Perform all activities safely and lead safety platform initiatives
Develop presentations based on work and share findings
Take direction from multiple sources, including junior engineers and senior leaders
Attend business meetings and project reviews
Apply basic knowledge of lab environment
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of laboratory environment
Strong documentation and observation skills
Ability to work with a variety of packaging materials and processing conditions
Willingness to learn packaging materials and testing methods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience considered
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Flexible and able to take direction from multiple stakeholders
Safety-conscious and proactive in maintaining lab protocols
Collaborative and team-oriented
