Staff Engineer II | Water & Wastewater

They are seeking a Staff Engineer II to assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater systems while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Support the planning and design of water treatment, storage, and distribution systems, as well as wastewater collection and treatment facilities
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and permit applications for municipal and utility clients
Assist with hydraulic analysis and system modeling using industry-standard engineering software
Participate in field work, site visits, inspections, and data collection to support project development
Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects
Attend and participate in client meetings to support project coordination, communication, and relationship building
Assist with construction phase services, including cost estimates, submittal reviews, and coordination with contractors and agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related discipline
Approximately 2+ years of consulting or relevant engineering experience, including water distribution and treatment systems, wastewater, collection, conveyance and treatment systems processes, hydraulics, environmental assessments
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc
Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
Valid US Driver's License is required
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification preferred
Academic or professional experience related to water and wastewater systems
Familiarity with PA DEP regulations, AutoCAD and common engineering or modeling software preferred
