Responsibilities
Handles the delivery, setup, and comprehensive explanation of various medical equipment in patients' homes
Trains patients and their families on equipment safety and deals with technically demanding setups
Loads vehicles and orchestrates logistics with warehouse staff
Oversees detailed work orders and ensures detailed communication with patients about their order specifics
Manages a broader range of equipment inventory and performs precise refills of oxygen tanks
Administers detailed paperwork and executes skilled adjustments to equipment as needed
Follows standard policies and practices with opportunity for interpretation and independent discretion
Educates patients on the effective use of their medical equipment, acting as the first point of contact
Works closely with dispatch and warehouse teams, ensuring seamless operations
Demonstrates flexibility and advanced problem-solving skills to handle complex tasks
Qualification
Required
High school diploma; 1 - 3 years experience
Knowledge of DOT requirements and regulatory compliance
One year clean driving record and background check required
Excellent verbal communication skills
Customer service oriented with an empathetic and compassionate demeanor
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Mechanical/electrical aptitude
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Adaptability in dynamic environments
Preferred
Experience in a home health setting, or previous experience with durable medical equipment (DME)
Bilingual
Prior experience in similar roles or settings
