Deputy District Attorney – Entry Level | Associate | Senior

The Colorado District Attorneys' Council is dedicated to improving the quality and fairness of criminal justice in Colorado. They are seeking Deputy District Attorneys to handle prosecution duties, manage caseloads, and assist victims through the criminal justice system.

Government Relations

Responsibilities

Appear in County and District Courts handling all stages of prosecution
Effectively manage a caseload
Prepare for hearings and trials
Partner with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies
Assist victims of crime and their families through the criminal justice system
Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney

Qualification

Required

Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court by the date of hire or a reasonable expectation of becoming licensed by the Colorado Supreme Court by the date of hire in accordance with C.R.C.P. 203.2, 203.3, 203.4 and 205.6
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment
Demonstrate a firm commitment to both advancing justice and maintaining the highest ethical standards at all times
