Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 3

Responsibilities
Creation and modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents
Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs
Assisting in the creation of system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans
Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interfacing with external IPTs and suppliers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
Experience with CATIA V5
Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
US-DOD Top Secret clearance
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start
Preferred
Experience with Fibersim or 3DX composites design workbench
Experience with metallic and composite design
Experience with 3D model based design definition
Experience with determinant structural assembly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
