Responsibilities
Under the direction of Deputy Director of PRRS (Programs, Reentry) directs and manages re-entry programs at institutions
Oversees and participates in the decision-making process for other divisions as directed by the Deputy Director
Evaluates personnel to ensure compliance with SCDC policies and procedures, as well as state and federal rules and regulations
Composes and updates policies and procedures
Directs special projects, assignments and prepares special reports
Develops working relationships with federal, state and local agencies
Develops and maintains relationship with prison industries for the purpose of connecting skilled offenders with employment in the community after release
Develop working relationship with community partners to assist released/soon to be released returning citizens
Oversees and monitors personal matters
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience
Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years relevant program management or correctional management experience
Must have ten (10) years' experience in upper management
Preferred
Program design/development/Implementation and reentry/community outreach work for offenders is preferred
