Inventory Control Analyst

They are seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to coordinate and perform activities to ensure effective manufacturing, receiving, and warehousing operations, while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Manage all shipping/receiving and inventory control activities — including accurate documentation, SAP/MES transactions, stock rotation, auditing, and maintaining precise inventory records
Oversee raw material and leaf movement by monitoring purchases, completing receipts and invoicing transactions, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, and ensuring proper storage, labeling, and warehouse organization
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, issues investigation, and supporting Quality and Procurement with held, released, and rejected materials transactions
Coordinate logistics operations by verifying shipment accuracy, preparing bills of lading and memos, and communicating with third‑party vendors and shippers for pickup and delivery scheduling
Support EHS compliance by following company safety rules, understanding and mitigating health, safety, and environmental risks, completing required training, reporting injuries/illnesses, and participating in site safety programs (e.g., PULSAR, Safety Triggers)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics, with strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and systems
Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear written and verbal documentation
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, demonstrating effective problem‑solving abilities and adaptability
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, including analyzing discrepancies, recommending solutions, and implementing process improvements
Preferred
SAP or related inventory control systems experience
Experience using MES
Understanding of SOX compliance requirements
