Program Coordinator Behavioral Health
Rancho Health is seeking a Program Coordinator for their Behavioral Health program, responsible for providing administrative and operational support. The role includes managing client intake processes, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care with licensed professionals in a fast-growing healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients entering the Behavioral Health program
Manage the Behavioral Health call line and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Greet and/or check in clients for appointments, complete check-out processes as applicable
Assist with the collection of copayments and other patient financial responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new client intake process, including scheduling initial Behavioral Health appointments
Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
Creating and updating client records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Assisting new clients in completing the required intake documentation prior to their first appointment
Ensuring clients are informed of their session format and location (virtual or in-person)
Schedule appointments for new and established clients while maintaining accurate provider calendars
Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
Assist clients with troubleshooting basic technical issues related to virtual appointments
Support efficient clinic operations by managing administrative workflows and task prioritization
Collaborate with licensed behavioral health professionals to support continuity and coordination of care
Communicate appointment updates, client needs, and relevant information to the care team as appropriate
Support operational needs of a growing Behavioral Health program
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as workflows, systems, and service delivery models evolve
Participate in process improvement initiatives and team-based projects under the direction of leadership
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare environment
Demonstrated ability to provide professional, courteous, and confidential customer service
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and program growth
Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Preferred
Additional education in healthcare: administration or a related field preferred
