Program Manager
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is a federal law enforcement agency dedicated to securing America's borders. The Program Manager will manage and oversee various agency-wide programs that impact national security, coordinating activities, establishing responsibilities, and providing authoritative advice to supervisors and officials.

Responsibilities
Engaging in intelligence, counterintelligence, investigative, or security work that directly affects national security as the program assigned and/or work location will require regular and recurring access to classified material and sensitive national security information
Coordinating, planning, organizing activities and actions involving several organizations, establishing responsibilities and time schedules when necessary and assuring implementation by subordinate organizations and operating units of the goals and objectives of the programs
Identifying and resolving in coordination with higher-level supervisor/manager, unique issues where no policy exists, taking innovative actions to address new needs and/or issues and presenting a plan to resolve the issue
Providing timely, authoritative, and sound advice to supervisor and operating officials relative to programs managed

Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years

You may be required to pass a background investigation

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is a federal law enforcement agency that requires all applicants to undergo a thorough background investigation prior to employment
There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by CBP
All employees new to the federal government must serve a one year probationary period during the first year of his/her initial permanent federal appointment to determine fitness for continued employment
You must obtain and maintain, at a minimum, a SECRET national security clearance
