Family Support Services Intern
D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s is a private non-sectarian agency that serves vulnerable children and families from the entire community. The Family Support Services Intern will provide support coordination services to children with developmental disabilities, helping to identify client needs and link families to necessary resources.

Responsibilities
Provide supports coordination services to children ages 0-17 with developmental disabilities
Work with FSS team members to identify client needs then create and monitor these plans
Help coordinate and link clients and their families to helpful resources such as therapies, school supports, medical care, mental health care, etc
Research resources and create assistive materials to help the client meet identified needs
Qualification
Required
Working towards a Bachelors degree in Social Work or a related field
Ability to work a flexible schedule on weekdays, including some evenings
Ability to learn electronic record-keeping and utilize technology for client contact
Ability to utilize transportation to client homes or other community locations
Applicants being considered for hire must pass a central registry clearance check and criminal background check to be eligible for employment
