Project Engineering & Design Manager
Acoufelt specializes in delivering high-quality soft architectural acoustics solutions tailored to the unique needs of clients. The Project Engineering & Design Manager will assist the operations team in executing projects by preparing them for manufacturing and production, managing a team of Design Engineers to translate design intents into engineered products that are production friendly.

Responsibilities
Quality check team output of production cut files and 3D models
Manage team workload, maintain commitment dates, resource plan for upcoming demands
Collaborate with the Operations Director and Senior Leadership to achieve quarterly goals
Occasionally engage with clients or designers to address project-specific requirements
Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all deliverables
Qualification
Required
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team
Ability to navigate files within Rhino 3D is essential
Strong design engineering skills, particularly relating to digital fabrication
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and requirements
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects/initiatives simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Decisiveness in setting team/project direction when necessary
Strong attention to detail
Passionate about how things go together and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving
A continued desire to learn and improve with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Knowledge of architectural products, hardware, and installation methods is essential
A strong working knowledge of Rhino
Experience with Grasshopper, Bluebeam, and Salesforce
Preferred
Background in utilizing Grasshopper scripts highly preferred
3-5 Years of experience of design engineering experience preferred
1-2 years of experience in leading a team and having direct reports (5-10 personnel)
Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
