Responsibilities

Support the planning, organizing, and implementing of effective sourcing strategies using company programs, tools, and initiatives
Assist with process improvements and projects related to procurement
Support various tasks including collecting & analyzing data for business insights, meeting & presentation preparation, supplier management, quarterly business reviews, and supplier capacity reviews
Serve on a larger project team focused on uncovering fresh sources of efficiency, operational capability, and other sources of supply chain improvement
Support developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for different functions
Complete supplier request for quotations (RFQs)
Prepare supplier profiles for presenting to management
Perform MRP and Spend Analytics looking for optimization of business practice
Perform part analytics to ensure parts are assigned to the proper commodity family
Perform Buyer functions, including creating, re-scheduling, and cancelling production and NPI POs
Call suppliers to get material status and expedite materials
Resolve Accounts Payable issues related to PO invoice and receipt discrepancies
Find alternate sources for material as needed
Provide material delivery updates directly to factory stakeholders and leadership
Develop and maintain KPI dashboard
Other duties as assigned

Required

Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework
Broad awareness across supply chain disciplines and manufacturing environments
Basic knowledge of project management principles to track deliverables, and status of the project
High proficiency in MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and organization skills
Operate as a team or independently under management guidance
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future

Preferred

Knowledge of Power BI, Oracle, or ERP system is highly desirable
