Responsibilities
Accurately prepare financial reporting and perform monthly reconciliations and accruals
Provide financial planning and analysis for all aspects of Nordstrom’s Legal department, including expense management and budgeting
Understand the key drivers of Legal financial performance including workers’ compensation, general liability and litigation spend
Manage actuarial claim projections, liability projections and accruals including self-administered claims, third party administrated claims and insured programs
Partner with key internal stakeholders including Financial Planning and Analysis and Corporate Accounting
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of combined finance and/or corporate accounting experience
Excellent financial and analytical skills
Ability to work and communicate with team members who have a range of financial acumen
Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred
Experience in legal or risk management
Experience using Oracle and Anaplan
