Program Manager 1-A-LDH
The Louisiana Department of Health is committed to protecting and promoting health for all residents. This position supports the Office of Aging and Adult Services by managing projects related to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and improving services for individuals with Serious Mental Illness.

Responsibilities
Convene and lead workgroups at the direction of the Program Manager 3; prepare meeting agendas, document meeting notes and decisions, track follow-up actions, and maintain strict confidentiality
Develop and manage project implementation plans and Department of Justice (DOJ) reports; monitor tasks and timelines, identify implementation barriers, collaborate on solutions, and keep the Program Manager 3 informed of progress
Assist the Program Manager 3 with process analysis and provide technical support as major program processes are revised to meet Agreement requirements
Utilize project management tools (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, OPTS) to prepare, update, and distribute project documentation
Develop, compile, and summarize reports demonstrating progress and compliance with the Agreement, including My Choice Louisiana quality measures and metrics, for Program Manager 3 and executive leadership
Support stakeholder outreach, training coordination, and communication by preparing training plans and materials, identifying or delivering training, and drafting written communications for internal and external audiences
Research participant case information for the My Choice Louisiana target population, as requested by the Governor’s Office, legislators, or LDH leadership, and prepare responses for Program Manager 3 review
Qualification
Required
Seven years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services
A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services
