Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain Linux kernel components supporting new hardware features and performance improvements
Design, implement, and debug Linux device drivers ensuring seamless kernel integration
Troubleshoot and resolve kernel- and driver-level issues including system crashes, compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks
Support production systems by monitoring kernel and driver health, responding to incidents, and deploying fixes
Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions

Required

Linux kernel subsystem development – hands-on experience designing, modifying, and maintaining kernel components to support hardware functionality and system performance
Linux device driver development – deep experience writing, debugging, and optimizing device drivers using C/C++ for server and SoC environments
Low-level systems debugging – strong ability to analyze kernel panics, hardware faults, performance bottlenecks, and stability issues
Server SoC and hardware-software integration – experience working close to silicon and platform hardware in production environments
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
5–7 years of professional experience in Linux kernel and low-level systems development
Strong proficiency in C and C++ for systems programming
Deep understanding of operating system internals and hardware-software interaction
Experience with kernel build systems, git, and open-source development workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration
