Responsibilities
Develop robust automation and CI/CD pipelines using Python, Bash, Jenkins, and related tooling
Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS and hybrid cloud environments supporting mission-critical systems
Manage and optimize containerized applications; deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters
Implement certificate management, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices across the SDLC
Administer Linux systems to ensure high performance, reliability, and operational excellence
Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, infrastructure, and legacy environments
Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including technical diagrams and runbooks
Collaborate closely with engineers, leadership, and customer stakeholders; mentor junior staff as needed
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship (required)
Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud engineering
Proficiency with Python, Bash, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
Strong Linux administration experience and solid networking fundamentals
Experience with AWS services and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
IAT Level II certification or willingness to obtain within one year
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Familiarity with certificate management, patching, and vulnerability remediation
Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-premise architectures
Background supporting automated testing, TDD, and code-review processes
Ability to document design decisions, runbooks, and operational workflows
Experience mentoring junior engineers or collaborating across cross-functional teams
