Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is a leading West Coast manufacturer of premium, semi-custom cabinetry. The Drafter role is responsible for the timely completion of designs and drawings supporting Special Project Requests, product updates, and new product development.

Responsibilities

Prepares CAD drawings to support the manufacture of Special Product Requests by creating structural details, visual guidelines, dimensions, and material lists

Update drawings, specifications, and material callouts to support product changes

Manages Special Product Request queue and provides timely turnaround of engineering requirements

Identifies and specifies required items to be purchased

Identifies and communicates processes to be followed for manufacture. Provides bill of materials, machining and installation instructions for Production Control and Manufacturing

Facilitate product prototyping when necessary

Provides support for technical documentation, drafting requirements, Engineering change documentation and analysis

Embraces SME role to provide support, product knowledge and act as resource to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service

Assist and support other projects and needed

Qualification

AutoCADCADCabinet VisionDrafting experienceMS Office proficiency

Required

Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, CAD, Insight, Cabinet Vision, or other programs

Proficient with MS Office programs

Previous experience with drafting / design, preferably in the cabinetry, construction industries
