Aequilibrium is a digital innovation consultancy that helps organizations design and deliver secure, scalable technology solutions. They are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Specialist to support the ongoing enhancement, automation, and scaling of enterprise cloud landing zone capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving secure, repeatable cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on automation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and continuous improvement of cloud landing zone and automation capabilities
Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable secure and consistent deployments
Support onboarding processes, including account provisioning and standardized infrastructure patterns
Enhance monitoring, alerting, and cost-management capabilities
Contribute to hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity initiatives
Prepare technical documentation and provide structured knowledge transfer
Present technical concepts and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate within Agile or Scrum delivery teams

Required

Hands-on experience with AWS in large or enterprise environments
Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
Experience using GitHub and CI/CD workflows such as GitHub Actions
Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

Preferred

Experience working with provincial or federal government
Experience with AWS Direct Connect
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
Experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud architectures
