Responsibilities

Assist with vital signs and reassessments
Stock supplies and transport patients under the direct supervision of the RN
Collect patient care data
Collect, label, and transport specimens
Perform secretarial duties as needed
Assist other teams in the ED as needed
Coordinate the schedule for the techs and participate in leadership meetings

Qualification

BART certificationBLS certificationEMT certificationCNA certificationComputer knowledgePatient care data collectionBilingual SpanishBilingual English

Required

BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date
Minimum one (1) year of experience in an emergency department, pre-hospital, acute care, or comparable settings
Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills

Preferred

EMT and/or CNA certification
Bilingual in both Spanish and English
