Responsibilities
Contribute actively to 3GPP standardization efforts
Write and submit 3GPP RAN1 / RAN2 contributions
Attend and participate in 3GPP RAN meetings as a delegate
Propose, lead, and execute research projects in wireless and connected mobility
Create invention disclosures and support IP generation
Publish academic research papers based on project outcomes
Collaborate with internal teams and external research partners
Contribute to other standard bodies (SAE, ETSI, IEEE 802) as needed
Present research findings to technical leadership and management
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Hands-on experience as a 3GPP RAN1 or RAN2 delegate (required)
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (≈5 trips/year)
Strong background in wireless communications R&D
4G LTE and 5G NR standards
3GPP standardization processes
Layer 1 (PHY) and Layer 2 (MAC/RLC) knowledge
Vehicular / connected mobility communication systems
Strong technical writing and presentation skills
