Responsibilities

Play a critical role in providing valuable third-party risk management expertise and support the development and evolution of our global third-party risk management program and team
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify third-party risks and opportunities, advise on third-party requirements and best practices, and champion third-party initiatives and priorities with business teams and leadership
Lead global third-party risk management programs, enterprise risk, or related teams within a large complex global organization
Navigate a highly matrixed corporate environment and collaborate across many stakeholders and groups to accomplish a goal
Motivate and develop a high performing team, including coaching, mentoring, identifying stretch opportunities, assigning work and managing performance
Communicate effectively and authentically with diverse audiences, facilitating successful meetings of varying sizes and seniority
Manage relationships with managed services providers, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual obligations, risk expectations, and performance standards
Keep up with global third-party related regulations and industry best practices, building external relationships through participation in industry organizations and/or committees
Oversee and enhance the global third-party risk management framework, governance, and develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of risk awareness and mitigation
Support audit activities, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements and best practices, and address vendor assessment challenges within a complex global supplier ecosystem
Prepare and present routine third-party risk reports and updates to management and appropriate leadership, while delivering training programs to enhance third-party risk awareness across the organization
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational agility, attention to detail, and interpret meaningful information from large data sets
Exhibit excellent planning, project management skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities with composure

Required

You have experience leading global third-party risk management programs, enterprise risk, or related teams within a large complex global organization
Financial services and/or investment management industry experience is a plus
You are comfortable navigating a highly matrixed corporate environment and collaborating across many stakeholders and groups to accomplish a goal

You are a proven leader and skilled communicator

You have facilitated a variety of successful meetings ranging in size and seniority, with diverse audiences
You have experience with third-party risk management and other GRC technology tools (e.g., ProcessUnity, ServiceNow)
You have created KRIs/KPIs and configured reports and dashboards
You have leveraged AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency in third-party risk assessments, streamline due diligence workflows, and improve continuous monitoring capabilities
You have managed and oversaw relationships with managed services providers, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual obligations, risk expectations, and performance standards
You keep up with global third-party related regulations and industry best practices
You build external relationships through participation in industry organizations and/or committees
You can play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the global third-party risk management framework, governance, and developing and implementing strategies to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of risk awareness and mitigation
You have supported audit activities (e.g., SOC 1/SOC 2), ensured compliance with global regulatory requirements and best practices, and addressed vendor assessment challenges within a complex global supplier ecosystem
You have prepared and presented routine third-party risk reports and updates to management and appropriate leadership, while also delivering training programs to enhance third-party risk awareness across the organization
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational agility, attention to detail, and interpret meaningful information from large data sets
You also demonstrate excellent planning, project management skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities with composure
