Develop mainframe applications by designing, coding, testing, and implementing updates using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality and adherence to technical standards
Create Python components to support integration tasks and extend mainframe‑related functionality
Engage in technical, architectural, and design discussions with cross‑functional teams across global locations
Collaborate with NY‑based and India‑based virtual teams to deliver high‑quality development outcomes
Adapt to evolving project needs while maintaining strong teamwork and problem‑solving capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field
8–10 years of experience required
Required strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 for core mainframe development tasks
Required hands‑on ability to develop Python components to support integrations and modernization efforts
