Responsibilities

Experience of managing & responsible for Network Data and Security track and manage Incident, Change and Problem management
Responsible and first level escalation point for Incident, change, and problems
Knowledge on configuring and troubleshooting the Cisco Routing, Switching , Firewalls & Wireless
Knowledge on Cisco ACI and implementation
Knowledge to review network maintenance and device upgradesa including patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Experience in Wifi products such as cisco WLC and Access points
Review the performance and ensuring service availability and reliability
Review system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Support in DR tests/failover from WAN perspective
Providing network engineering support and training to other team members
Ability to manage the devices through Cisco Prime Infrastructure & managing the DNS Records with third party Vendor
Managing and reviewing the CMDB on Snow
Extensive knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies
Excellent Exposure to current Leaf>Spine>Leaf architectures, validated designs, and methodologies
Excellent knowledge of dynamic routing protocols Eigrp, OSPF, iBGP, eBGP
Excellent exposure to Nexus 2/3/5/7/9K platforms
Excellent exposure to DNS, DHCP & IPAM
Strong Experience in managing Nexus/cisco switches with FEX, VPC, VXLAN, VDC's etc
Experience with Routers, switches, HSRP, VRRP & GLBP redundancy protocols, Firewalls
Strong troubleshooting skills by providing support for any network & security related issues
Experience in monitoring tools like Solar Winds, thousand eye
Experience in Infoblox
Experience in Load balancers such F5(LTM, GTM)
Responsible for ensuring the team to adhere to the SLAs and process
Responsible Level 3 Troubleshoot and resolve Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewalls, McAfee Web gateway, Barracuda Email security, Thales Key management -related issues
Responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis for major incidents
Responsible for configuring changes on Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewalls, McAfee Web gateway, Barracuda Email security, Thales Key management to meet organizational security requirements
Responsible for Integration of new Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewalls, McAfee Web gateway, Barracuda Email security, Thales Key management to AWS cloud environment
Responsible for creating and maintaining firewall rules, policies, and objects using centralized management tool (Checkpoint Mgmt. server)
Responsible for providing technical guidance and support to other IT team members
Responsible for making customer environment to stay up to date with the latest Palo Alto Networks technologies and best practices
