Equipment Technician

HB Teknical Services, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade work on equipment and facilities. The role involves supporting developmental tests in a lab environment and requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Performs the on-site service and repair of equipment per schedule and needs
Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed
Responsible for completing sample tests as requested for development tests
Responsible for communicating immediately any abnormal finding on the equipment, product, or environment
Consistently demonstrates efficient and effective methods to deliver quality results
Responsible for supporting engineering on any improvement project and assisting in any other task or job assigned by supervisor based on business needs. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine due to the nature of R&D
May train others
Multiple shift schedules possible. Candidate needs to be willing to work long hours and weekends (as needed) to support any equipment or operational tasks

Required

Demonstrated equipment troubleshooting skills at the systems level
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, vacuum systems and/or robotics preferred
Ability to work independently with no supervision
Ability to follow Safe Work Practices. Full understanding of LOTO
Ability to communicate on a regular basis with all levels of employees
Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions/test plans
Average to excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
Attention to detail, good team player, accountable, go-getter
Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift
Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basis
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
The ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
All candidates receiving an offer of employment must successfully complete a background check and any other tests that may be required

Preferred

It is a plus to have the following: ability to learn to operate a variety of processing and test tools for semiconductor device fabrication and measurements or prior experience
Experience in wet coating processes such as inkjet printer and spray operation
Ability to support atomic layer deposition(ALD)
