Responsibilities

Assist in the end-to-end process of identifying, understanding, and triaging vulnerabilities across the enterprise
Support 'offensive-style' security tests and simulations to identify potential exposure points
Participate in security reviews of application source code to identify flaws before they reach production
Assist technical teams in understanding reported risks and provide guidance on effective remediation strategies
Gain exposure to modern security frameworks and tools used to manage and reduce the organization’s attack surface
Communicating technical risks to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner
Utilizing industry-standard tools to evaluate the severity and impact of security findings
Working closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure security is baked into the technology lifecycle
Maintaining a 'student of the game' mentality to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats and defensive methodologies

Required

High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required

Preferred

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field with a clear focus on security
A strong desire to work with tools such as Horizon3 NodeZero, Onspring, and Ox Security
Basic understanding of offensive security concepts, application security principles, or Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM)
Solid verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable and professional while collaborating with teammates on camera
Ability to break down complex vulnerabilities and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences
