Responsibilities
Lead a team of individuals; set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching
Participate in on-call activities and manage the systems within the domain and work with the primary responders to help fix system issues
Troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate technical data, and develop recommendations for systems and services within the domain, respond to tickets/bugs within team-defined service-level objectives (SLOs), and contribute to systems and services in related domains through bug reports and consultation
Work with customers on defining distributed systems requirements, testing procedures, and proposing solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, an IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience with system design
5 years of experience with managing technical work, driving engineering strategy and roadmap
5 years of experience managing or leading a team
Preferred
3 years of experience with leadership development and career growth of employees
3 years of experience in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems
