InternSECO Energy is the third-largest electric co-op in Florida and the seventh-largest in the nation, seeking qualified candidates for a summer internship in their Engineering Department. The internship will provide hands-on experience in electrical engineering and GIS technical services, assisting with projects related to line design, construction planning, and geospatial data support.

Responsibilities
Assist and closely follow Engineers in the Engineering Department
Develop electrical engineering experience and skills within the electric utility industry
Work on overhead and underground line design, planning and design of construction of electric facilities, and development of distribution system models used for loading, voltage, and fault analysis
Participate in substation design and system protection design
Assist closely following Geospatial Specialists in GIS technical services including custom cartographic services, GIS data support, and maintenance of electric and Landbase assets modeled in GIS
