Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in North Quincy, MA. The role involves architecting scalable microservices, implementing saga patterns, and optimizing database structures to enhance application performance.

Responsibilities

Architect scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot or Python with strong focus on database‑per‑service design
Implement saga pattern orchestration to ensure reliable distributed transactions across services
Optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures for Postgres, Redshift, and other supported systems
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient build, test, and deployment processes
Enhance application performance through tuning, query optimization, and microservice‑level improvements
Collaborate with teams to integrate message queues, event‑driven components, and cross‑service communication patterns

Required

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a closely related technical field

Required hands‑on experience with Postgres/Redshift databases, Java/Spring Boot or Python services, and CI/CD pipeline development
