They are seeking a driven and analytical Summer 2026 Technical Operations & Strategy Intern to contribute to high-priority strategic initiatives, including infrastructure expansion, business case analysis, automation, market intelligence, and business development.

Responsibilities
Conducting market and provider assessments, developing strategic options, and contributing to the creation of a 3-year infrastructure strategy
Analyzing global spend basis for colocation and network and recommending actions to senior management
Enhancing our tooling, forecasting and tracking with AI and other forms of intelligent automation
Deep diving into emerging competitive threats and market shifts within key Cloudflare supplier areas (e.g., AI/ML, data center, cloud) to produce actionable recommendations
Finding and speaking to new infrastructure companies and creating new business relationships
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science)
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to structure complex problems, conduct rigorous analysis, and synthesize findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives
Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior leaders and facilitating cross-functional discussions
A self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving; detail-oriented and organized
A passion for Cloudflare's mission to help build a better Internet and a genuine interest in the underlying technologies (networking, security, edge computing, AI)
Preferred
Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
Ability to commit to a full-time 12 week internship
In office 3-4 days a week in-office in Austin, San Francisco, or New York
Familiarity with infrastructure concepts (cross-connects, circuits, colocation vendors/sites) or interest in learning quickly
Ability to write or prompt (OpenCode etc) scripting and code
API familiarity and ability to create persistent, reliable data pipelines
