They are seeking an Information Technology (Innovation) Intern to support innovation initiatives by collaborating with technology and business teams, working on projects that align emerging technologies with business needs, and developing technical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with technology and business teams to support innovation initiatives through ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration
Assist with proof-of-concept (PoC) projects that align emerging technologies with business objectives
Partner with business teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency
Research and explore emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, and computing innovations
Analyze industry and competitor trends to understand how technology is leveraged across the market
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to research and resolve issues
Participate actively in team discussions, projects, and the internship capstone presentation
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support department and company goals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity and willingness to learn in a professional environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently and as part of a team
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across diverse teams and perspectives
Attention to detail and openness to feedback for continuous improvement
Commitment to working in a manner consistent with EquiTrust's Core Values
Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
Use of hands for fine manipulation, typing, and operating office equipment
Ability to communicate verbally and visually in a typical office environment
Preferred
Rising junior or senior preferred
Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or other creative or technology-related disciplines
Prior internship or work experience is helpful but not required
