Specialist, Information System Security III (E2 Code: SISS3)
Wood River Federal is seeking a Cyberlog Analyst to provide RMF Process support in accordance with DoD guidelines. The Specialist, Information System Security III will oversee cybersecurity operations, ensuring compliance and security across DoD systems while leading a team and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Leading efforts in cybersecurity compliance, including RMF and DIACAP processes
Supervising and maintaining the operational security posture of information systems
Assisting in the development and enforcement of system security policies and change management procedures
Preparing and maintaining cybersecurity documentation and process artifacts for ATO compliance
Evaluating security solutions for classified and unclassified systems
Supporting vulnerability analysis, incident response, penetration testing, and network security monitoring
Utilizing tools such as eMASS and ACAS to support cybersecurity assessments
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior cybersecurity staff
Collaborating with system owners, engineers, and ISSMs to ensure secure system operations
Qualification
Required
ACTIVE SECRET security clearance required
Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline or High School Diploma/GED
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M and DoD 8140 certification requirements
CND Auditor
CND Analyst
CNDSP Manager
CND Incident Responder
CND Infrastructure Support
IASAE I or II
Minimum of five (5) years with a bachelor's degree or seven (7) years with a high school diploma/GED in cybersecurity, engineering, test & evaluation (T&E), or assessment & authorization (A&A)/certification & accreditation (C&A)
At least ten (10) years supporting network/system security, Cyber Security Service Providers, or Red Teams within DoD or Federal government
Experience must include three (3) of the following six (6) areas: Vulnerability Analysis, Network Security Monitoring, Incident Response/Forensics, Penetration Testing/Red Teaming, Experience assisting or developing system security policy and ensuring compliance with change management and configuration control processes
Advanced knowledge of RMF and DIACAP processes
Proficiency with cybersecurity tools such as DISA eMASS and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and compliance frameworks
Ability to lead teams and manage cybersecurity operations
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Experience developing and maintaining system security policies and procedures
Ability to evaluate and implement security controls for complex systems
