Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code across front‑end and back‑end components
Build and consume secure APIs and third‑party integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments
Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver practical technical solutions
Participate in code reviews and follow established development and release processes
Contribute to technical documentation and team knowledge sharing
Support ongoing improvements and gradual modernization of existing applications

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
3–5 years of professional software development experience, including full‑stack application development
Hands‑on experience building applications using: Modern front‑end frameworks such as React (Angular is a plus), Back‑end technologies such as Node.js or Python, Relational databases using SQL
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with an understanding of secure coding practices
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve application issues
Ability to work independently while managing priorities in a collaborative, deadline‑driven environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Exposure to financial services, banking, or credit union environments
Familiarity with legacy systems or languages (e.g., Perl)
Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira
