Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack for a Contract with a client in Sunrise, FL. This role delivers high‑performance full‑stack solutions across modern Java and microservices environments, focusing on design, development, and maintenance of applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, React, and microservices architecture
Build and enhance REST APIs while integrating data from SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch
Work with CI/CD pipelines, source control tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), and build tools such as Gradle to ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Implement clean code practices, SOLID principles, and automated testing frameworks to ensure high‑quality software delivery
Develop backend services and distributed systems leveraging Docker, Vert.X, Kafka, and cloud‑native components
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to refine requirements, provide technical input, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases as required by the client
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based repositories, Docker, Kafka, and clean‑code/SOLID principles, enabling efficient delivery of scalable, maintainable applications
