ASCENT Sr. IT Project Manager

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for the ASCENT Consortium, a national research initiative focused on palliative care. The role involves independently implementing information-based solutions, managing IT projects, and facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage IT and software-related projects supporting operations
Oversee application support initiatives, system enhancements, service improvements, and training
Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
Assist with software support (Airtable or similar software) and coordination of the ASCENT lab including but not limited to tracking consultants and requests
Create workspaces (e.g., sheets/reports/dashboards/interfaces) to assist with reporting requirements
Build workflows and automations in Asana to support the ASCENT Consortium activities

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Two (2) years of professional experience in project management using digital operations platforms
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire

Preferred

Experience with collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
Database and data management expertise using Airtable
Experience with Asana for tracking team tasks
Experience with scheduling (i.e. Outlook, Calendly, and other similar software)
Experience with project management software (i.e. Asana, Smartsheet)
